Boat Polish?

The paint on my boat (16' Smokercraft) is looking oxidized and dirty at the water line. I tried using Nu Finish polish but it did not remove the discoloration.

Is there a rubbing compound that is safe for boat finishes?

use lemon pledge, I use it on my boat once a month and it really cleans and shines my boat up. I was told to use it by and old friend of mine, I didn't believe him but he showed me on his boat and now I'm a believer.

Thanks for the tip. It works to remove grime, dried blood and water stains. I still have some discoloration after using it, but thanks for the tip.

Meguiars color restorer is what I use... works great... I used a 3 step process, using the color restorer (with a buffer), Meguiars Polish, and then Meguiars wax.
