Burbot reports?

Last year, the open water fishing for them picked up in mid October when the water temps dropped in the 50s. It was good right up to ice-up in early December. I'm not sure what the water temps are up there, but with the early winter storms we've gotten, they are in the upper 50s-low 60s down near the dam. Should be starting, if it hasn't already. Good luck!

firehole area is producing good numbers of burbot off most any rocky points out to 40 feet of water. standard fair of glow grubs and sucker meat. try the lost dog area also. should do well.
