California Kokanee Plants?

Haven't been fishing much the last five years due to life/health issues. Was on the CIFFI site looking for California Kokanee Plant info and from what I saw, they haven't done any plants since 2015. If that is correct, why no more plants?

DOH - found the recent years plant data over on the Kokanee Power site.

It was my understanding that the state took over the rearing and planting of the kokanee due to it being much more cost effective.
