Been KILLING the kokes at Causey the last 3 days. Fish up to 18" and fat all over the place. Trolling with handline downriggers(DKSRenegades idea-Thanks Dale) down 15' to 40' with RMT dodgers, RMT squids. Also Mepps Psyclopses humdingers in silver, and cripplures in pink/glow and chartreuse.. Hookjaw caught a bunch on p-gear combos too. Most fish have started to turn and the biggest so far we caught was tonight and it was almost completely red but not real bright yet. Speeds were from 1.4 to 1.8 but that magic 1.6 is the ticket. Skull Crack, Causey Estates and the main bay have been the best.thumbsup

Nope, i figure there are enough people who don't have a clue how to catch them it will be alright. There is only 12 days left before they are closed anyway.

It's cool, I'm not too worried about it. I don't think anyone will use the rope method anyway. That shiz cracks me up! laugh hyst

Of course, you are probably still laughing at my Pop-Gear method. ;)

One nice thing about causey is no boat ramp so it limits the people that will fish there.thumbsup

Brody,
So where's a picture of your awsome downrigger?
Good to see that you are getting into the Kokanee at Causey.
They sure are bigger than the fish at the Pig.
Way to go!

That's pretty close. Not like last year though. There is no "river" in the scout arm. The water is still high enough to dump right into lake level.
