chimney lake bc

going to chimney lake for sept. long is there kokanee in this lake? any advice as i am new to kokanee fishing, but eager to learn more.

--kokanee there for sure one of the best for numbers in the area.
--problem is the larger fish are likely getting ready to spawn this time of year... I am not sure but there may be sterile triploids in the lake you can look that up on stocking reports at gofish bc site. Even though triploids do not spawn they still seem to slow up on the take this time of year.
--wind can be a hassle on the lake but small enough to get to shore if it becomes a problem.
--I fished it last year but not this season.. it is usually one of the better lakes for kokanee good numbers and decent size in that area

Thanks for the reply. The fishing was very slow. Lots of fish on the fish finder,but nothing biting. It is a very nice little lake, beautiful color to it.
