Most of the time I fish either Lucky Peak or Arrow Rock. On both lakes pinks and greens are the "go to" colors. I rarely fish either. I don't want to be pulling what everyone else is. I want to give the fish something different. I understand that the fish can see and be attracted to different colors at different depths. When we are fishing and they are biting I try to change up my color selection to see what colors I can catch em on. To build confidence in different colors. One of our last trips out we caught them on pink, chartreuse, peach, orange, blue, white, clear, and purple. We boated over 40 kokes. We started out using 4 different scents and it didn't take long before we narrowed it down to 1. We boated all but 3 of those fat Arrow Rock kokes using a vanilla scented corn. On that particular day I don't think we caught more that 5 kokes on 1 color. I talked to a few guys at that ramp that said the fishing was really tough and found out that they only pulled pink and greens all day............
