Well it all started when my dad and I went springer fishing at Davis bar. It was hard to fish with the wind and the waves. We saw a sea lion but no fish being caught. We went home at noon, swapped salmon gear for kokanee gear and headed to Merwin. Once we got to the water my dad went close the dam looking for the spot we caught fish last time. It wasn't long before we caught our first fish, we caught it with a watermelon sling blade and a pink hoochie, the next fish we caught on my kokanee killer lure but I lost it at the boat, fresh bait and let it back out, I barely got it in the holder and it went down again, that one we got. The third fish that we caught was about a 13" and my dad reeled that one in, that one was on a red wedding ring. The fourth fish was on a pink glow apex. The people that were by us had a double going and then caught another one a few minutes later. I had a lot of fun that afternoon.101bananna101

The chances of a Springer for me are probably slim, I am still learning, but if I can get him on one.....it would be worth it! I guess we will fencing and see who wins! 101ok101
