Hi Guys, I am heading up to the Gorge this next week and I am staying at the Lucerne campground. I am embarrassed to say the for all the years we have been fishing up there we have never stayed at Lucerne campground. My question is do they allow a truck with trailer and a truck with boat to park in the same slip? If not do they have an overflow parking area? I have been looking at some google images and it looks like they maybe do but the photos are old and I heard that maybe there was a rule change, I have been calling the phone number but can't seem to get someone to answer. Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

CGoose, many of the camp site pads are wide enough to park both rigs side by side. the worst case scenario for you would be that they might charge you an extra vehicle charge for the 2 trucks. Have you considered leaving the boat in a marina slip?

You can rent a slip for your boat. This being said some park their boat trailer in the parking area of launch ramp with or without tow vehicle. Before campgrounds were redone there was excellent room to put 2 vehicles on with trailered boat and camper. Loop F which is first come first serve is still set up the old way with ample room. The other loops are by reservation only now improved with electrical, water at certain locations and some newer restrooms with showers. You can still find a spot to help accommodate your needs but at the entrance of the loops is a parking area that some will park either extra vehicles or a trailered boat.

Thanks for the info SuperD & Bduck, we have never reserved a boat slip don't really know why other than sometimes we move to different ramps from Lucerne up to Buckboard. Sounds like I should branch out and try a bunch of new things this trip and get out of the same old routine rut. Thanks again

I stay at the Lucerne campground all the time, I need the electrical hookups
I have a 20' boat, 20' trailer and a truck their is not room for any thing else.
they have a free overflow parking area you could put your truck there, but sometimes it is full
I go up durning the week and never get reservation
last year I went up the 23 of July and lucked out they had one spot left.
If you have a Senior Pass it cost $18.00 a night with electrical hookups.

Thanks Liketrolling I think this trip will be a bit of a learning experience, I like the sound of the senior pass but unfortunately for me I am a little ways off before they will let me qualify. We have always stayed at the KOA in Manila or up at Buckboard we got a wild hair to try something different so just trying to figure what to expect so we don't have any issues and can just fish.
