Kokanee_Slayer and I got to the lake around 6am. The water wasn't bad at all with a little chop. I thought we were in for a good day from all the reports from yesterday 4/1/2011. We got out in the water and Kokanee_Slayer had a good hit right away. The fish got off and we continued on our way. As the morning went on, the wind picked up. It increased througout the morning with no intentions of stopping. We fished from 6-10 and by the end of the morning, there were white caps. Kokanee_Slayer's 12' Lund did a fabulous job taking on the "Big Water" (the picture doesn't do it justice AT ALL)

Thank you Kokanee_Slayer for letting me tag along. It was a fun morning. We ended up with a couple of fish to show for the "fun"

I have a feeling it was the low pressure system that came in last night that put the fishing off. I have a feeling that once the water warms up a few more degrees, American is going to be on fire more than it has been. This is going to be a great year! Lets go get 'em!

That is the luck I have had all week, great one day, slow the next. Sure nice fish.

It sure felt like on deadliest catch

Great Job guys, even at full throttle of my electric trolling motor my boat was not hardly making any headway. I got two today and did not even know the second was on till i brought up the downriggers to leave and found the release all fouled up. Well look forward to warmer calmer conditions in the near future. See you on the water!!!!!101chromefish101
