deadwood in aug.

hi, new to the kokanee fishing but hooked. i was wondering if the fishing on deadwood in the mid. aug would be any good. we may be headed up their. any advise would be great.

wondering the same thing myself. ...going early August, hoping that the late sping/summer will be kind. Usually go the week after 4th/july and its been great then. ..., should be ok for august. We'll see. )

i havn't been up there but going to give it a try. i heard it is ussualy couple weeks later than down at LP and arrowrock. and it seems like everything is at least a couple weeks late this year. i'm thinking it should be good!

Deadwood should be fine in August. Fish and Game will put their weir in around the middle of August to trap the spawners. Good luck. Scott Mtn road is open and good.
