Depth Sounder/Fish Finder

Whatever you want to call it. Could anyone make a recommendation for one ? I have been using a Fishing Buddy for years now, but I feel like moving on now. It's good for a portable but having to drag it out every time I have to move somewhere is getting old. I'm thinking it would good to be able to cover more water quickly to find the Kokes. I don't want to spend a lot of $$$ I have been looking at a Lowrance Mark-5X DSI Sonar at around $300 What's your call ???

They might be getting hard to find, but I got an Eagle Cuda 350 (w/ GPS) for $200 and really like it.

I have the Lorance model and we get along fine, it's my first depth finder so, don't have experience with any others. The Lorance has more options on it than I know what to do with, (sort of like my cell phone). Should spend more time getting to know the unit, but when I get on the water I am more interested in fishing than fiddling with electronics.
