I will be going camping up at Detroit Lake this weekend, and we will be trolling for trout and kokanee. I also wanted to try fishing for the salmon by the dam if it wasnt to windy on sunday. I've heard people say to use small herring about 75-100ft down. If anyone else has ever fished for these guys and would please let me in on some of there methods, it would be great. P.S. I've never fished Detroit lake before, so any methods for trout and kokanee trolling also would be helpful. Thanks, Tight lines.
