Dipsy Divers

Hi everyone, I new to the site and new to the kokanee fishing.
I have a 12 inflatable raft with 30lb minkota tolling motor. I have most of the gear wedding rings and dodgers/flashers. I would like to know your input on the Dipsy Divers and a kok setup. I have two 9' rods both with line counters and 10lb test mono is this too lite of line for the dipsy's Magnums? From most of the reports I have seen in my area of Idaho the fish have been anywhere from 20 to 50 ft.
Any input would be great.

My wife Hates downriggers. she says they are to much work. whatever I tell her (lazy a$$) I have quite the collection of jet divers, deep star six's, walker, etc. the best are the ones which release the planing action. they are adjustable with a screw to lighten or tigthen the trigger. walkers have seem to be the best for us, they come in many colors. As far as the jet divers, I buy two in every depth number, 20,30,40,50; which are equil to the depth. You know I use to use a raft for troiling between my boats. I mounted a little longer board on my motor mount and actually put a downrigger on the side of my motor. the set up has a koke out of strawberry under it's belt.

Thanks for the info BB. I have a couple of Lure Jenson Dipsy Diver Magnums. They say with the o-ring they can be trolled down to 100'.
The big question for me, is 10lb Trilene XL mono too light to pull these divers down 20' to 50' of water. Because on all the info I have found said use 20lb test. But that was a setup for Chinook and Coho. So if you or anyone has any info on this please let me know.

better use 20 lb braid, far smaller diameter less water drag, will allow the DD to dive further.

use a kokanee bungie off the back of the DD and then a fairly long piece of 6>8 lb soft mono leader for shock line for the soft mouths. 4>6 feet to the lure should do it, just so you can reach the lure/fish to net.
