double dodger

I guess that's why 20% of the fisherman catch 80% of the fish. Has anyone tried the double dodger set up? With the big swinging action, how long of a set back would you use for a spinner and how long for a hoochie rig?

Since I'm so bored with this weather I looked at the video it was nice and informational had some good points/sometimes I feel in real clear water that we have in are High Lakes to much flash can be very harmful and with UV added to are color madness on clear sunny day can and will have the opposite affect. I have experimented with different wobbler's they talked about on the show adding Alvin, Paulson Cascade, etc the one point the show brought out, and one should memories is how important your trolling speed is and how everything centers around it.

I've had good luck a time or two with Double dodgers, after reading about them in Dave Biser's book. The predator/ big dodger thing is interesting?101smily101
And totally questionable with respect to how large dodgers work at Flaming Gorge where there are 40 lbs lakers cruising for kokanee snacks. If large dodgers only scare the small kokes away, I'm all for it!

My point exactly and one of the reasons I found the video questionable. To assume an eight inch dodger would look to a Koke like a predator instead of just like another Koke is pretty odd. These fish live 24/7/365 with something trying to eat them from the day they are born. They know precisely what a predator looks like. Flashers of any size merely pique their interest. The information on the action of the different dodger styles was good and is instantly verifiable by simply dragging them a few feet behind the boat. Some of the other comments in the video were a little bit out there.
