I started making my own dodgers and lures last year with pretty good success, surprised myself. I have been looking for some small blanks to try. I can find the blanks that are the trolling spoons like sling blades, but not the ones a little more oval and about 2 inches long. Anyone know some place? Thanks Dan

Hagen's has crow spoons and wobbler spoons that are oval shaped and come in small sizes. Also you might try F.S.T. spoons they are oval and have great action.101chromefish101

Give us a picture of what you are looking for specifically and we'll find it for you!

Thanks for the help. I was looking at the silver leaf trolling spoons in Hagens. Has anyone tried them? I was looking at the crow spoons when I found them. Do the crows spoons have a slow back and forth action?

BH sad to say I haven't been on the water since late Dec.and I haven't had a chance to try my 4" crows yet.If I remember correctly the small ones have a slow back and forth thump.I 've used the small silverleaf spoons( 2.5" or 3") but not enough to say I like them a whole lot yet.

BH I finally got to run a 4" Crow spoon dodger ,it worked great. I used the trout foil finish with wedding ring type spinners and caught 9 or 10 rainbows.101chromefish101

I ran the crow spoons several years ago at the Gorge. They had there time in the water and produced well. It is a very different movement from them. Get creative, put the large one in front of a small one (with a hook on it) about 2 feet back. You just might be surprised what happens.
