Don Pedro, my first time

I talked to my buddy, Alan, late Friday and we decided to try something different so we went south and played at Don Pedro for the day. It was my first trip to that lake so I was excited to fish some new water. There was a pretty consistent breeze all day but the fish were willing to take some of our offerings. Orange, UV Apex was the best producer at 45 - 50' OTW. Fish were 12" - 13". And the fact that we had to wade through double digit Rainbows to get our kokes made it that much more enjoyable. The day was a good day to break in my Velocity rods I got at the ISE show.

Nicely done SD. I've only fished Don Pedro once and had a great couple of days.

We keep talking about going there cuz it is really close to us, but we never seem to mke it. Haven't fished there in several years.
