well , just got back from merwin, fished for two hours put four in the cooler. not quite as hot as the last couple trips and the water is just getting to low. i have a 19 ft boat and the trailer was in the rocks before i could launch. also be careful , there are a few submerged stumps betwen the no wake bouys. anybody outthere fishing yale?

Thanks for the update on launch conditions. If they end up raising the pool too quickly the bite will surely stop as the plankton get stirred.

Went up today water was way low trailer was probably 10-12 feet off the ramp on the rocks. Pulled 2 kokanee out in a couple hours

nonono !!!!!!!Check water level before you go!!!!! nonono

Its to low to launch from the Campers HideAway and very LOW at Speelyai. I helped a friend launch a 21ft Jet Boat yesterday and we got it in the water BUT it would be very hard comming out because the trailer was way down the rocks & very close to the drop off!
We moored his boat at the Hideaway Marina until the water comes back up.

I arrived at Merwin on Tuesday early in the morning. I decided not to launch due to low water. I went up to Yale and fished for 5 hours. We had three poles out. We only got four hits and caught one that measured 12 1/2 inches. I saw four other boats and those that I talked to were not getting fish. There should be some nice fish this summer. The new launch is really nice. The docks are lower than at Speelyai making it eaiser to get in and out of your boat.

How do you check the water level at Merwin. Sounds like a good idea before loading up.
