DR weight color

noticed bright orenge appearing last year I always used black. Does it make a whit of difference??

I used 10# black , and they were getting skuffed up so i got a can of the plastic handle coating and coated them in red and used them all last year and really didn't noticed any difference one way or another.

curious, I've always run a short flashy (18.in) troll behind my weights and would think you want attention on the troll flash and not on the ball..

Why not make the ball an extension of the flasher? If you are trying to attract, why not attract?

dunno, never gave it much thought. seems to me the troll looks like a school of baitfish, what would the weight look like??

What do Kokanee care about bait fish? My view of attraction is that the fish are going to be curious to sound and flash. Anything that they can see from a distance is apt to bring them closer for a good look. There is already a multi page thread on this topic in this forum. You'll see pictures of guys that completely wrapped their weights (almost said balls) in flash tape.
