We were having the grandkids for the week and they said they wanted to go fishing so we asked if they wanted to do the tournament, which they thought might be fun. We didn't expect to have two fish turning in to weigh in, but luck prevailed. I took 2nd place with a nice 4 1/2 pound Koke, and Jennie took 1st with a nice 3.85 pound Rainbow. Needless to say we were all pretty stoked with the fish we were catching. Marty from Ducks Unlimited did a nice job with his first tournament, and alot of insight for improving next year, like adding scales at more locations. 1st place koke was a 5.35 pound which must have been a beauty to see. My koke was caught on Kokanee Creek Tackle's "White Knight" behind a Silver Streak dodger at 35 feet down and the rainbows were hitting "Sargent Slaughter" squids in the shallow areas.
