E Canyon & Rockport

Took a ride up to E Canyon & Rockport this morning. EC is ice free but there is snow blocking the launch ramp and the ramp itself is clear. Alot of pipeline work going on in the area. Roads are a tad muddy from heavy equipment working there. Rockport is ice free and ramp is clear for launching. Courtesy dock still in the water. Headin' up for a winters day fishing in 40F weather.

With this mild weather we are having, it would be nice to take the boat out on occasion and enjoy the winter scene fishing. Talked to the ranger at E Canyon and that lake capped over Dec 14 last year. The calm before the storm is here and time to take advantage of it. Like to see others out at Rockport on Sunday.
