It has taken almost 4 months, but IGFA has finally approved my application for a new world record line class kokanee. The fish was submitted for the 4 lb line class, but the 4 lb P-Line I was using tested at 4.8 lbs and the upper limit for the 4 lb line class is 4.41 lbs. The record is for the 6 lb line class.
It has been along wait and it is a joy that the record is official.
The fish was 26 inches long, had a girth of 16 inches and weighed 7.495 lbs. A fish of a life time.
