First Open Water

Went to West Hill Pond yesterday afternoon!
Only the boat cove free of ice -> about 200 ft. by 200 ft.
Hooked and landed a 21 inch Seeforelen Brown trout, about 3 1/2 pounds.
Also a 17 inch Rainbow (Released).
Used my NEW Microlight outfit with 4 lb. test.
WHAT FUN!!!!!!!!!

great fish sea dog,were ya fishing at the winsted end or torrington end any kokes??? waseeforellen skinny?? my buddy got one last fall in front of the boat launch 27in probably only weighed 5 lbs though sick looking.
