We made it to the Gorge earlier than ever in the year with perfect weather in April, and fishing was really awsome. We started out slow for half an hour and then the poles started bouncing. Staying up just below surface produced some nice looking 1.5 - 2 lb kokes along with a few little releasers and one close to 3lb. Also picked up a few nice rainbows and laker pups. Best colors for the day were black/white (Black Pearl and Splatter Spoon) from Kokanee Creek Tackle. Water temps are between 42 -46 degrees.

Nice!

We didn't fish that shallow a couple weeks ago but wondered about it. We might try to go up this weekend it this next storm moves out by Sat.
