Fish Finder?

Last weakend I made a trip to the gorge for kokes I didn't really see any fish on my finder -only twice while trolling as soon as I gave the boat some gas and started cruising I began marking fish I know some fish are scared off by the boat noise but not all my fish came shallow some where at 26,30,and even 48 has anyone else had this problem? Maybee my transducer angle is off

Which fish finder are you running? When you were marking fish did you see full arches or partial arches? Check your chart speed setting and your ping speed setting.

You should be able to see your downrigger weight or put a big weight on your rod and watch both or either be lowered down the water column on your finder. If you can't see either adjust your angle of the transducer till something shows up.

Also you might check the sensitivity settings on your finder. If your finder has a Fish ID setting turn it on - it will show everything down there as a fish....
