I've had this project in my head for several years that involves a piece of wood burl that is sort of a family heirloom that was passed down to me by my dad. I've wanted to do something special with it so it could be displayed for people to see so I decided to make it part of a fish mount. I've also always wanted a spawning Kokanee salmon mount so I put these two ideas together. I am more than excited about how it turned out. The quality of the paint job is phenomenal.
