Fished Flaming gorge 1-26-13

Me and some buddies went up to the gorge saturday and fished buckboard area for anything that would bite. We ended up catching a few lakers, bows and burbot but fishing wasn't too good. We fished in 17-25' of water with everything in the tackle box. Ice was well over a foot thick and slippery because of rain, not snow!!!!!! The girls outfished the guys on this trip.............

TB, it is 2013 already buddy! For "not too good", it looks like you got some nice fish!

TB sounds like a great trip. How far down the lake was the ice? I am thinking about heading up soon.

Ice down to anvil for sure. And heard the pipeline area was froze too! I guess it wasn't bad for trout but, we were after burbot and it was slow for them.
