Fished Roosevelt this weekend

Fished Roosevelt Lake this weekend at spring canyon struck out on kokanee but couldn’t keep the rainbow off they were thick couldn't get away from them all 15 to 20 inches snapped one picture before I came home today. They all hit kokanee spinners tipped with corn.

How deep were you fishing Guy?

oldguy43 I was using a 000 flasher with a 3/8 ounce weight and out 100 feet I think I was down 10 to 15 feet going 1.3 to 1.5 mph. I just got back from there again tonight lost a couple of dandy kokanee and had limits of rainbow every day again but you had to work for them this time. The water temp dropped 2 degrees from last week so that put it at 36 degrees.

Great report and have the bug to get back out there myself. Got the boat pretty much ready to go and am restocked with gear. Went out a couple of weeks ago to get the cobwebs out of the boat but the water temp is still to cool for KOKs.
