I finally got out to fish yesterday after having a lot of boat work done .We got on the water about 8 am and fished about 3 hrs till the wind made it too hard to fish . A cold front came through and I wasn't expecting much.
2 of us landed 13 nice kokanee and lost quite a few . the last hr they seemed to be hitting very light.
My neice was using a small flasher with a purple hoochie and shopeg corn.
I was using my usual , a home made spinner and red beads , no attractorand corn . the spinner only out fished the flasher by 3.
Twice we had doubles on. I think fishing is very good . The fish were showing between 11 and 42 ft. we caught all our fish at 15 and 20 ft.
Most were 13 , 14 inches , thick and deep , larger then last yr.
