I took my friend from AZ out for kokanee Tues. My big boat has one engin3 down . We decided to rig the bass boat for kokanee .
We pulled a couple buckets . Then put the trolling motor down for more drag . It was still too fast but we were going to try .We were using lead core lines with small sling blades , one copper with matching spinner blade , one chrome with a pink hoochie . Both with corn .
We started fishing at about 8 am. We caught them at 2 to 3.5 colors till about 10 am . We caught a few more till it slowed way down till about 11:30 . We had fun catching carp the Pine Arm till about 3m . We started trolling back to the Marina .
We caught Kokanee again at 4 to 6 colors . Most fish were 12" - 14 " with 4 at about 15" . Total count was 29 , all revived and released . A great day fishing !
