We made it back to Buckboard for the "early weekend" and had lots of fun again with the grand kids. We fished Friday and caught plenty of fish at 65 - 70 feet deep with most of the action with KCT's Black Pearl behind Shattered dodger, and the rest were hitting on Hot Tail Green squid. We ended up catching about fifteen and all were still silver. Saturday was quite a bit slower and the fish were only hitting green or white lures. The Hot Tail Green squid brought more in than White Knight Spinners and squids, with the fishing a bit slower. The kids had fun catching fish, and that's what we were looking for before sending them back home. Still getting lots of 3+ and some 4+ pounders, and one "red". Having troubles with camera, will try to post pictures later if I can.
