So, what's the biggest fishing tackle deception you've pulled? Mine was my fish finder. I bought it for $1,600 online but paid for it with bi-pay or 2 monthly installments. I let her see the first statement and pitch a fit over spending $800 for a fish finder. I just took my beating like a man but was smiling on the inside.

Yikes Super D, you've got me beat for a one time purchase.

My new steelhead spinning set-up is a 8-6" Lamiglas Certified Pro and Shimano Symetre 2500 -she thinks I spent $50 on the rod and already had the reel. Somebody will be getting a sweet deal at a garage sale when I am long gone.
