Played hooky today with one of my long time fishing buddies and hit Berryessa to try and pick up where i left off last weekend. The morning provided some heavy fog/overcast which made tactics a little different until the sun could break through. But ultimately, the pink lures and copper pop style were still the big producers. Mag Tackle Mag Head hoochies and some RGT tubes helped complete the limits. The highlight of the day came after lunch when we hooked up with a triple. And in rare form, we landed them all in one net without dumping any of them.

It sure beat a day in the office. LOL! We were lucky enough to be among the 10% yesterday as most were radioing 0 - 2 fish per boat. Two limits in a week is saying a lot for how this lake usually treats me.
