Glow Sticks for Jigging?

I've read over the years (mainly advertisments) about the use of glow sticks when jigging right off the bottom for attraction at deep depths. I've often thought about trying it for koke fishing... problem is i've never read an actual report of success with them. Has anyone here used them for kokanee and if so how did it go?

I have not used the glow sticks. But I use custom jigs that glow and they work very well.
