So there just isn't one definite reason most have theorized what's up with the fish. We marked alot of fish, and just could'nt entice too many to hit. We did get a few nice fish between some long, quiet trolls changing gear over and over again. The Black Pearl and White Knight spinners and a Hot Green Ghost squid were the right lures at the right time. Depths were from 40 to 60 feet down. Started out Sunday morning but picked up some plastic bag pieces into the impeller, so my day was over befor it started. I've heard tons of ideas on what caused the slowdown, my own thought is the low front going through. What are some of your thoughts on what the reason for slow bites?

Been reading a lot about the black pearl spinners. Can you buy them in any of the shops around the gorge? I have an order in with KokaneeCreek; however, I will not get them in time for this weekend.

Store

There is one store in Green River selling Kokanee Creek tackle. I will see if I can find out what it's called for you if you go through the town. I will be up there this weekend also on the Buckboard end. I can grab one from Pinnacle Marine in Salt Lake and bring it up to you if your going to be around the Buckboard side. Let me know if that works before Friday when I'll be heading up.

I will definitely be fishing between Anvil & Buckboard this weekend. Maybe I will get my order tomorrow if Kokanee Creek Tackle is fast (??). I would hate for you to go out of the way - Thanks for the offer.

KCT is very fast only took 1 day after my last order. I just did another order today and im confident ill have mine before the weekendtooexcited

Very impressive! I ordered my spinners late Tuesday p.m. and had them in hand Thursday early p.m. They even threw in a squid and an additional spinner for free. I appreciate this kind of customer service.

Now if they work, KCT will have a customer for life.

i got my order today. 1 1/2 days that pretty dang quick. RMT, Radical Glow, Cristenson Lake Shore tackle are all that fast to.

FYI...Payless in Green River does carry Kokanee Crk tackle and has the black pearl splatter blade spinners along with a good selection of other sporting goods. Will try some new gear on FG tomorrow!

The black pearls behind lime green dodgers worked from 8-10 a.m., 60-80' down, at 1.5 mph, but couldn't buy a bite after that. Take a kid, or two, fishin'!
