We finally had the chance to take the grandkids out and they wanted to catch fish, som up to the Gorge we went. The weather was fairly decent for the better part other than the later afternoon, but that's the gorge. Fished KCT's Green Matrix with Watermelon splatter blade, Silver Streak with Green Hot Tail squid, Matrix with Hot Pink Glow squid, and Shattered with Black Pearl. Switched into Orange Crunch with Orange Double Trouble and El Fuego afternoon. Fishing was slower than normal, but still active enough to keep the kids interested. Better hitting gear is listed by best activity above. We fished with results at 55 to 75 feet down, catching some nice 4-plus pounders. Some of the fish out of Buckboard have already started to turn pink, (see pics) The grandkids had fun and want to get out again....and that's what really counts.
