gorge report sept 5-6

Hooked up with Halojm and fished the gorge Friday and Saturday, Friday we got a late start and didn't get on the water till after 2pm fished the mouth of the canyon and back into the canyon a bit picked up a few good fish but Rob's Dad brought on in that still had a milk mustache. laugh hystLOL fished south of the cut and got some good sized ones there as well. Saturday we made up for the lost time and got on the water before dark and headed for the BLVD trolled there with everyone else on the lake and picked up some very nice kokes as soon as the sun came up over the hill it slowed down so we headed for anvil to give that a try got a few nice ones there also but lost more then we boated as we where heading back down to the pipeline we saw KKF member Rich come by. fished the pipe line and the cliffs back to state line before we decided to call it a day. we caught a bunch of fish but it was tough. we threw rainbow glow, double glow, pink haze, clear and pearlecent squids at them and did the best. got a few on rmt spoons but it wasn't consistent like the squids. Was my last trip to the gorge till after the kokanee season opens back up again. thanks for the trip Rob was finally good to fish with you and your Dad.thumbsup

Thanks for the report Jason.Good to hear that some nice fish are still being caught.I hope to hit the water one more time before koke season closes. Then I will give the gorge a break for a couple of weeks.
