Couldn't stand it anymore, so went to GP on Saturday, had to get the "skunk" off a new rod and reel. The water was in pretty good shape considering the weather, water Temp. around 46, or as my buddy say's "pretty damb cold!"
Fished up near the Island, the fish seemed more schooled up than I expected, between 20 and 35'. Threw everything but the tackle box at them, the only thing that got any action were "hootchies". Boated 3 fish, one was a pretty nice 12". By late morning the wx cleared and even had some sunshine, no wind. All in all, a pretty nice day for March!
