Just finished Phil Rabideau's "Master Angler" ..Someone on this site recomended it and I found a copy on EBay Wow, a must read to get a handle on why certain colors work (or dont work),water temp, clarity etc. Answered a lot of my mysteries and questions on koke ,trout salmon and bass quirks. A good addition to any fishermans library.

I found this book on Half.com

The Master Angler: Using Color Technology To Catch More Fish by Mike Rabideau (2003, Paperback)

Is that the same book?

RALPHL Glad you like that book I've read it 3 yrs ago My fishing partner does Looney lures has even taken it to another level about color technically/rated one of the 5 best painters in the nation. Mr Rapideau was his mentor.

RalphL you could contact him he does custom painting Looney Lures you'll need to send me an e-mail i can forward you his info. I have flashers, wobblers, apex's, spinners etc done in his patterns. just for record almost every major lure designer are copying his stuff Brads,Lure Jenson/Wordens etc Alot of these folks were designing there products to catch fisherman not fish.

Master Angler - Color Selection

I just finished the book and can't wait to test it out. Seems like the color selection/size/flash theories should be particularly applicable to a reaction bite fish like the koke. I'm definitely going to try this out and log the results. I'm hoping the koke fishing is going when I get back to Montana next week.
