Hey Guys, We were asked what we are using back here. I am in Michigan and fish Lake Mich. Flashers and flies are huge with 4" flies in either mylar or flashabou. We run them behind either a 8" or 11" flasher for kings, steelhead, coho and get a laker here and there. Meat rigs are awesome, we are having a bit of a problem getting bait such as herring.Meat rigs are just a very easy way to kind of run cut plugs. Stick the bait fish in the meat head and it gives it the proper roll so it acts like a wounded bait fish. Spoons are a easy way to catch kings just troll them. We troll at any where from 1.8 mph to 2.7 thats the general speed.Greens, whites, blue with glow and mirage added helps alot. We are making the brightest beads now and the UV and glow help alot also. I have a 10 meter trojan which takes the waves pretty good. Did get caught in some 10 to 14' waves one time. About soiled myself.
