Took my daughter out Saturday to Green Peter. It was the first time she and I had fished together (she's 19). She had fished once or twice at a church camp but had never caught a fish. Kia was a quick study and did an excellent job. We were out early, and like has been posted things were very slow. We had to leave by 2:45 to get her back home to get ready for work, but did manage to land 7 fish and lost 2. Just before 2 o'clock things got good and we landed 4 really nice kokes. Here are a couple of pics, the first is Kia's first fish ever from earlier in the day. The 2nd is our best fish, she caught a 16", 1 lb 5 oz koke still in pretty good shape. Even though we didn't catch as many fish as we would have liked, and the wind was blowing us around pretty good, it was a great day just being on the water and having time together!
