Fished 7/16 with my son. Put out the gear at 5:15 and had one in the boat in 5 mins that went nearly 15 inches. I lost the first 6 fish that I hooked, well it happen NOT TO ME after that I started putting Fish in the boat. The catch was hot then slow, hot then slow, and when it slowed we started changing gear and then we would find the working color and the bite was on again. We caught them 30ft first thing in the morning to 70ft late morning on. We started with green and ended the day with blue for the colors.

Total for the day was 48 (dang should have stayed to say we caught our limit) with 17 being dinks. We left at 4:00 in the afternoon.

Our boat is a 20 aluminum with a NW Custom Boat Works Tower on it,

worthy12 I was there too in the mist and fog in the AM. Never did find many fish. Mostly up around the island and along the south shore toward the dam. If I could ask, where did you find the fish?

I just got home from a long weekend up there. Boated 31 on Saturday and 9 on Friday. Lost a lot fish at the boat. Pretty much the same as Robin mentioned about the depth and size of fish. Lot of dinks with some big fatties thrown in there. What worked for us was silver/red or pearl pink spin glo's behind a uv sling blade. This set up has been the only thing that has consistently worked for me.

We found some off of the points between the creeks and the rest down at the dam.
