Went fishing with my son yesterday at G.P.. They are filling up the resevoir! As of yesterday only 2 parking spaces remained on the lower ramp at Thistle Crk.. Water was clear despite all the rain we've had prior to 03/13/10 and winds were calm. Air temp stayed in the upper 40's throughout the day. We managed to get 9 yesterday, 12 inch average. My son led the way with 6 of those 9. Baby hammered nickel Cowbell, followed by a red Wedding Ring, was the most productive as far as hits and fish in the cooler. Watched a young Blacktail buck swim across the Quartzville finger at one of it's widest points. He appeared to be quite relieved to reach the bank on the peninsula. thumbsup Bull ( Take note: There have been vehicle break-ins reported recently at the boat ramp, occured to vehicles during middle of week. )
