looking to fish GP for the first time in 2 weeks. What depth should I start with? What rig would you recommend I use?

We did really well a couple of weeks ago at the KPO Derby, Depth depended on the area, one area we were in 25' was the ticket, but around the corner 60' (and slightly larger fish). I saw and herd of a lot of different gear combinations catching fish, for us it was orange micro hoochies 7" behind a dodger, for some reason the sling blade style (what I normally use) wasn't as effective as the traditional double bent style. Most of the fish we caught were at 50 to 70 feet. No 16's all about 10 to 11.The hot color for us was pink.We just trolled in the middle of the lake. Hope this helps you. Keep the reports coming, Good luck.
