Hell Hole reds

Josh and I went to our favorite lake and again we were alone on top of the world.we put 16 fish to the net and found the reds we have been wanting to catch.Green was the color again for the most fish.
Heres one of the reds

The fish in the third photo looks silver. Was it silver and perhaps next years fish or was it red? Just curious. Sounds like a nice trip.

We kept three fish that had scales still but were this years fish and most of the fish we caught were silver only 4 reds near the dam(where they are staging) .We did get a few of next years fish ....about 4"....in the back but the big ones are going to spawn soon.I figure about 2 weeks and the lake will have no more this year fish in silver.But I,m no expert.

We did get to see a school near the dam cruising about 100-150 of them in 10' of water when we put the traps out.

The fight the reds put up was the best fights we had.
