New to the sport of Kokanee fishing, but since we live near Green Peter Res., it's time to take some time from the working world to enjoy being on the water.
I'm a machinist with a small shop located in the mid Willamette Valley, and this has given me an outlet to do my own repairs (including tig welding) and custom parts for my latest boat that I'm feverishly trying to get ready for this spring. Buying the boat was the easy part. Getting the rigging straightened out and set up to one's needs, takes time. I'm starting off with a good foundation though. A Wooldridge Classic 20 foot windshield boat, that was custom built for an outboard. Kind of like an Alaskan on steroids, 3/16in thick, 12 degree, 6 foot wide bottom, and a large sled style bow with lots of fishing room. Pics to follow.
I have enjoyed reading this forum, and hope to learn much more on this craft called Fishing.
Tight lines,
Russ
