Saying hello and introducing myself. My name is Brad and I am new to this forum and Konanee fishing. Although I have known about Konanee all my fishing life, I just never pursued them. I have been a lifetime fisherman too, however primarily a fly guy since the age of 10. My hometown was Eatonville - rather close to a very nice Kokanee fishery - but now I reside in Puyallup (still close to many options now!!). I am a Washington lifer to boot. I finally bought a boat that could be used on larger lakes and effectively for all game fish, Puget Sound or freshwater, possibly even a river or more, and am now getting bit by the Konanee fever. Hey! Why not???!! I have been listening to KJR and the Herzog school of Kokanee, found this forum, and am now happy to learn from all of you pros too. I think I will need a raise, but it's all good!

Not all of us are pros. I'm a beginner to Koks also. Just 3 years under my belt. I'm a multi fish species kind of guy. I like to travel to many lakes.

Welcome- Chris

101welcomw aboard Brad. When you find a pro here be sure point him out. These guys act like a first time little kid getting a hookup with such excitement. Take it from who can't wait to get out to the koke waters. 101ok101

Glad to hear all these people act like me then! That's what it is all about - good times, fish, and the excitement of a little kid no matter the age. Thanks for the welcome men! I hope to get out this coming weekend with my family and put my new knowledge to the test. If lucky, maybe I'll have some pics to post of my first outing for Koke's.
