Hi all
Just checked out Loon Lake for the first time yesterday. It was a little windy, so didn't fish much. I'd love to try night fishing sometime, but I only have a small aluminum boat with an electric trolling motor. I don't think I should take it out after dark!

If anyone would like some company some Saturday night, let me know? I'm 61, and absolutely love fishing! I'm really looking forward to learning more about how to fish this lake.

Hi Doug from Elk. Welcome to the forum. You could launch from Granite Point and use your electric to get to the area we fish. You'll need a spare battery to run the floating light and a a lantern or head lamp to see the rod tip. You are welcome to PM me for my number to answer any questions you may have on Loon.

Fished Friday AM for 20 kokes and a 13# Mackinaw! Take a look at northwestfishingreports.com for the report and others from Loon including night fishing posted by me downriggeral
