Ice Fishing for Kokanee

Has anyone had success fishing for Kokanee thru the ice at Flaming Gorge?101chromefish101

Not sure why this is the case, since they are caught through the ice at other lakes. Maybe those that have done well keep their lips sealed?

You can do well for kokes in the winter up there, its all a matter of locating them on such a large body of water. Once the ice forms in your favorite koke holes, go looking and be prepared to move around alot until you find a school, then get after them.
