Just saw this in the last couple days. 5 guys in a 21 foot boat with the goal of crabbing. One of the crab pot lines got tangled in the prop, a large wave capsized the boat. Gail force winds, high seas....
In the news...one crabber dies off Half Moon Bay

I think that was Bodega Bay but that does not matter in the end. Yesterday was a brutal day to be out. I was out this morning though from HMB and pulled a limit of crabs with 3 others and the captain for 50 crabs. The ocean had a nice lump but was plenty crabbable down at HMB. Hopefully I got some photos..but now I need to clean my gear and start crackin crab. Oh and I was wearing my life jacket under my gear today.
