Hello everyone, I'm HBomb, and I'm from Lynnwood, WA. My usual spot is Lake Stevens, and I've fished there with some success these past 3 years.

I finally bought a boat and am interested in any tips on where to go after Kokes within a two-hour radius of Lynnwood. I have a little guy that is 7 (he goes by Rhino) and he is a gamer, he'll get up at 3a to go fishing with dad, so if you recommend the early start, we're there.

Thanks everyone and tight lines!

Welcome

Welcome to the forum HBomb. I don't know of any lakes whitin 2 miles of Lynnwood that have Kokanee. Maybe some of the fishermen that live in the area can tell you of one. I've never fished Stevens, but Cavenaugh and American are good. Farthe north Lke Samish has been good.
Samish is north on I5 about 50 miles. It's on the west side of I-5.
American is south of you on I-5 about 53 miles.
And you know Stevens. There are more, but they are a longer drive.
Hope you get good info from else where.

Thanks, I should have wrote two-hours instead of two-miles!

Lake Samish looks like a great lake. I'll aim for that one soon.

HBomb welcome to the forum neighbor!

Although it doesn't contain kokes, I live close to Martha Lake.

WDFW used to plant kokes in Silver Lake but stopped many years ago.

The closest lake to us for kokes is Lake Washington but you would most likely end up catching a Cutthroat because there are not that many in the lake is my understanding.

Tight lines,

Richard
